Oh my goodness! We launch for Nicaragua tomorrow! We’ve had a lot of fun and vulnerable moments these past few days at training camp. I thought I’d share a poem about my stay here, and about our mission. Enjoy!

The poof of mattresses falling,

the giggles that follow after,

Matt’s “good morning Michael McCranie” calling,

that puts us in a fit of laughter.

Sounds of tipping Hydro Flasks,

tears of surrender pour as we cry,

we hurry to do what the Lord asks,

worshipping Him with hands lifted high.

We will walk hand-in-hand,

spreading the good news,

no we’ll run across the land,

with His love we won’t lose.

We come together as a home,

and watch the darkness flee,

together we watch the Spirit roam,

that’s our mission Gap 23.
